Mark Lichtblau has significant experience in commercial real estate, representing both developers and regional tenants in complex and sophisticated projects. Additionally, he has a broad background in real estate-based financing, retail leasing, commercial licensing and the creative arts. Before returning to private practice, he was real estate counsel for the Mandee, Annie Sez and Afaze chains of retail stores. Mark has lectured on retail leasing at Columbia University and regularly chairs roundtable discussions at the International Council of Shopping Centers annual Law Conference.
Mark has advised artists of all types, from the Picasso and Matisse families to performance artists, singers, visual artists and photographers, on leases and contract negotiations, as well as on litigation matters.
Mark is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Bergen County Bar Association. He has received an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell. He is a returning member of the Bergen County South Ethics Committee and is also certified as a New Jersey Emergency Medical Technician.
