Marla Taus concentrates her practice in the areas of real estate law, education law, land use and zoning, and municipal law. She has extensive experience in assisting clients in a wide range of residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract negotiations to closing. Marla’s work includes all phases of contract negotiations, financing, liquor license acquisitions and lease negotiations. In addition, she counsels clients in all aspects of school law, including a wide range of personnel issues, contract negotiations and interpretation, special education, policy analysis and revisions, New Jersey Family Leave Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, matters relating to board governance, representation at board meetings and at administrative proceedings. Her work has also included land use, development and securing governmental approvals.
