Eighth Building Bergen Program Examined How Adaptive Re-Use is Changing the Face of Bergen County

The latest Building Bergen program, “How Adaptive Re-Use is Creating Substantial Value for the County,” held on October 16, addressed how the face of commercial real estate is changing throughout Bergen County by finding new uses for old buildings. Builders, developers, planners, architects and municipal and county officials are taking existing structures and adapting them in creative and exciting ways to meet the ever-changing needs of our communities.  Local leaders, real estate professionals and urban designers discussed how adaptive re-use is a proven way to re-build and evolve stranded assets
