Richard Kahn , Winne Banta’s Co-Managing Princip al, and a member of Winne Banta’ s Real Estate Law practice group, concentrates on commercial real estate, including the acquisition and sale of apartment buildings and office building s, commercial financing and retail, office and industrial leasing. Richard has extensive experience in shopping center development, and in particular , supermarket leasing and office leasing.
Richard has received an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell. Since 200 I , he has been selected by his peers as among the Best Lawyers in America in real estate law. In “New Jersey’ s Best Lawyers,” Richard was named one of only six Real Estate “Lawyers of the Year”. He has been named in a list of New Jersey Super Lawyers since 2005 and he has also been cited by Chambers USA as a notable real estate attorney in New Jersey. Richard was named by (20 I ) Magazine as one of its “Best Lawyers” in Real Estate Law.
Richard is a member of the Bergen County and New Jersey Bar Associations. He is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and has been a speaker at its conferences. A past member of the board and former general counsel of the Solomon Schechter Day School of Bergen County, Richard is currently secretary of the Maso11i Foundation.
