Winne Banta’s Joseph Basralian Secures Site Plan Approval

Winne Banta’s Joseph Basralian has successfully secured site plan approvals throughout New Jersey for various projects, including but not limited to hospital expansions, self-storage facilities, apartment buildings, shopping centers, gas stations, and warehouses. Most recently, Mr. Basralian has been an integral player in the Hackensack redevelopment plan, having secured site plan approvals for at least 1500 units to date.  One of the notable Hackensack redevelopment projects is on River Street at what is commonly known as the Bergen Record property.  Mr. Basralian secured site plan approval for 4 phases of development of the Bergen Record property, including 3 residential apartment buildings totaling 700 units, three 1-story retail buildings totaling approximately 33,700 square feet, and 1,200 square feet of mezzanine storage space.

Yet another recent notable site plan approval secured by Mr. Basralian is that for the $700 million pavilion project currently underway at Hackensack University Medical Center. This project includes a second main entrance to the hospital complex, 14 to 18 new operating suites, over 200 single occupancy rooms, additional intensive care space, and space for MRI and CT Scan equipment to be within the operating suite area.

Mr. Basralian and all our Land Use attorneys regularly appear before local and county zoning and planning boards, and other governing bodies and authorities, on behalf of landowners and developers.  Many municipalities throughout New Jersey are familiar with Winne Banta and our Land Use attorneys, enhancing our ability to effectively present and prosecute an application.
